County OKs purchase of used Sullair 185 compressor and declares old unit surplus

Commissioner Larry Anderson moved and Commissioner Tom Appel seconded approval to purchase a used 2021 Sullair 185 Cat air compressor from Ziegler for $18,500 and to declare the 2003 Sullair 210H surplus property to be sold on Minnbid; the motion passed unanimously.
The board recorded that surplus proceeds will follow standard Minnbid procedures. Staff also noted that no immediate replacement vehicle was needed for the county’s recent pickup acquisitions, and the board approved declaring a 2012 F250 Extended Cab pickup surplus for sale (separate motion).
