On second and final reading the mayor and council adopted bond ordinance 12-75-25, authorizing the appropriation of $1,941,351 to pay costs for various public improvements and for acquisition of equipment and vehicles.
Council members heard the ordinance read aloud, then approved it by roll call. The ordinance authorizes appropriation, use of a state grant where applicable, a down payment and issuance of bonds and bond anticipation notes to finance the appropriation. The clerk was directed to publish the notice of adoption as required by law.
