Kim said the goals build on priorities discussed during an earlier presentation and will guide work through the year. "The 1st goal is around fiscal management," she said, describing collaboration with administrators to set budget priorities and transparency around tradeoffs if additional funding becomes available. She told the board she will present a Division 22 compliance document at the November meeting and intends the equity and policy work to feed into broader integrated planning.
The board offered supportive comments, with one member praising the goals' simplicity and alignment to existing district work. Kim said staff will provide resources for administrators and that some deliverables—such as the compliance plan—will return to the board for review in coming months.
