Council adopts findings of fact and conclusions of law on June appeal with one abstention

Law director Jesse Champ presented the findings of fact and conclusions of law that summarize the council's earlier review of an appeal heard in June and asked council to adopt the written document.
"This is, essentially the write up of your discussion and, application and review of the denial of this request," Champ said, asking for a motion to approve and signatures on the final page. Council member Shea moved to adopt the acceptance of findings; the motion was seconded by Mister McLaughlin and carried on roll call. Mister Moore recorded an abstention.
Staff will collect signatures on the final signature page to formalize the action; if any member dissents they were instructed to mark that on the document. The acceptance formalizes the council's prior decision and closes the matter for administrative purposes.
