The district's finance officer (identified in the meeting as Kim, speaker 9) told the board that December revenue was "right around $1,000,000" with year-to-date revenue near $11,000,000. Kim reported December expenditures of about $1,850,000 and year-to-date expenditures of roughly $9.5 million. The finance committee recommended renewing a certificate of deposit (CD) coming due next week for $750,000 for another six months at an annual rate of 3.9%.
Kim also presented bills for approval totaling $686,319.03. Board members confirmed the district remains "online" with the budget and that tax revenue timing means remaining receipts for the fiscal year will be more grant-dependent. The board approved the reported bills and the CD renewal recommendation as noted in the meeting record.
