The council approved core construction funding for the Buckskin Hills Enduro training course while negotiating infrastructure line items across the meeting day.
Committee debate initially led Scott Wheeler to move removal of a vault toilet and awning from the award so core trail work could proceed with allocated funds; the motion passed. Later in the meeting, with leftover funds identified, Eric Nelson moved to restore $74,500 for the restroom and awning and the council approved that restoration.
Presenters earlier described a three-tier (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) enduro practice facility of approximately 0.5 miles on two acres intended to address a shortage of single-track infrastructure in Uintah County.
