City approves $5,000 environmental review contract in pursuit of stormwater grant

He said this contract is outside the grant and that if the grant is awarded, the grant would cover approximately one-third ("0.333") of the rough project estimate, with the city paying the remainder in cash.
A committee member moved to approve the environmental review contract with Klein Peter Consulting Group, the board seconded and approved the $5,000 contract by voice vote. Board members acknowledged the broader project is in early stages and that additional grant-funded work and fees would be part of the subsequent grant scope if the application succeeds.
