Staff reported that six crosswalk murals are complete and credited local artist Janosl and public works and police for help with traffic control during installation.
The planning/arts staff member said leftover paint facilitated a last-minute mural at Henry Street and invited council members to see locations. Staff announced the planning commission will hold a public hearing to review parts of the Unified Development Ordinance and invited the board of zoning appeals and public comment at that meeting, noted in the record as the 10th at 5 p.m.
Staff emphasized that the UDO review will cover only select sections and that more items may come forward as part of a broader ordinance-update process.
