"It will only be accessible from 7AM to 8PM because we do have that concern for the neighbors if they're not disturbed at odd hours," Wilson said when describing access controls.
Multiple neighbors voiced concerns about speed, dust/gravel, year‑round traffic and the concentration of battery‑equipped RVs (a fire risk). The commission debated enforcement mechanisms, the role of gate automation vs. owner control, and whether to require a perimeter fence immediately; members settled on a set of conditions that included gate lock hours, a requirement to phase fence installation (24 months), camera installation and an annual review. The commission moved, seconded and approved the permit with the stated conditions.
