Richards said her 911 address has appeared as '145' for two years while her actual address is '140,' and she told the board she was on a fixed income and sought help determining where the fine money went.
County Manager Thomas Weaver told Richards the Commission cannot change fines imposed by judges and that the county would investigate the 911 signage and address discrepancy; he also confirmed staff would look into water billing issues Richards described. Commissioner Damon Hoyte asked follow‑up questions about her water bill delivery and the board agreed to follow up with staff to determine whether address signage or billing delivery errors occurred.
Richards thanked the board for looking into the matter; the work session record shows staff promised to check the 911 signs and water‑billing records and return with findings.
