The Commission unanimously reappointed three members to the Cusseta–Chattahoochee County Planning & Zoning Commission during its Feb. 4 meeting. The board adopted separate resolutions reappointing Randy Register, Teresa Smith and Willie Brown to terms expiring Dec. 31, 2027.
Each resolution was moved and seconded during the meeting and recorded in the formal minutes and supporting resolution documents. The reappointments carry the condition that appointees serve per state statute and county rules governing the planning commission; the resolutions were attested by County Manager Thomas Weaver.
Commissioners said the appointments keep continuity on the local planning body as the county considers zoning clarifications and conditional-use permit (CUP) procedures discussed at the Feb. 24 work session.
