During public comment, Jacob Brush said he was contacted by a representative from Easy Wheel School who said Councilwoman Cowdrick had inquired whether Brush took CDL classes during borough work hours and whether the borough might reimburse the cost. Brush told the council he did not authorize the outreach and that the school declined to share his information and notified him immediately. He asked that borough representatives respect employees’ privacy and not contact training providers about private matters without authorization.
The minutes record Brush’s complaint as a public comment to be part of the public record; council members did not record a formal reply during the session. Brush said he has acted with transparency in his borough role and asked for the same level of respect for municipal employees.
