Ogdensburg sets online auction for two borough properties in November

The Borough of Ogdensburg on Sept. 22 authorized an online public auction of two parcels identified as Block 21 Lot 27 and Block 26.09 Lot 39.
Resolution 80‑2025 directs Max Spann R.E. & Auction Co. to hold an online auction beginning Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. and concluding Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The auction will use undisclosed reserve prices and any sale must be approved by the borough council; the council reserves the right to reject all bids.
Why it matters: property disposition can affect borough tax roll, maintenance responsibilities and potential redevelopment. The council previously authorized awarding a professional services agreement to Max Spann to handle listing and marketing.
