"Applications must be submitted no later than Monday, June 1. No exceptions," Harris said, outlining that the program is income- and asset-based and requires proof of income (a tax return if filed, or Social Security/retirement statements if not). She said her office has directly assisted roughly 150 applications and can help residents complete the form in person or accept mailed copies.
