Business-office staff said the cost differences hinge largely on sanitary-line work and whether playground equipment must be moved. "One of the decisions when we were pre-election... we really are getting very close to making a decision. We should have a decision or at least real discussion points, at the April meeting," a district presenter said, adding that architects will attend the April meeting to provide more precise cost estimates and site logistics. The board asked staff to capture costs for both options and to evaluate routing for student traffic, locker placement and minimal classroom disruption before a final recommendation.
