Selectmen approve minutes and accept two donations; board adds DOT micro‑grant to new business

At its May 12 meeting, the Woodbury Board of Selectmen approved minutes for the April 18 workshop, the April 28 regular meeting and the May 9 workshop. Motions to approve each set of minutes were moved and seconded, and the board voted 'Aye' to approve.
The board also accepted two donations: $3,400 from Newtown Savings Bank to Parks and Recreation to sponsor the summer concert series, and a hanging art display system valued at $2,000 from the Garden Club for Old Town Hall. Both donations were moved, seconded and approved during the meeting.
Additionally, the 1st Selectman moved to add discussion of a DOT micro grant under new business (item 3); the motion passed.
