"I move to accept with gratitude the donation of $3,400 from the Newtown Savings Bank to the Woodbury Parks and Recreation for sponsorship of the summer concert series," Selectman Karen Reddington Hughes said; the motion was seconded and the board approved the donation.
Officials noted Newtown Savings Bank is one of two listed sponsors for the series (the other referenced as Longmeadow). The funds will be used for the summer concert programming and related community events.
