County librarian reports steady library participation, LSTA-funded maker space at Duncan

Sabrina Dumas, Greenlee County's county librarian, presented a written report and a PowerPoint summary of recent library activity, saying participation remains "very good" across the system and that the summer reading program draws additional users. She highlighted LSTA subgrants from the state library that funded a Duncan "Design Den" maker space and multiple take-home "Timmy kits" for different age groups.
Dumas said patron numbers dip slightly when school resumes but staff anticipate recovery as new library personnel settle in; supervisors thanked her for programming and volunteer efforts. "If any of you haven't been up to the library lately, I invite you all to go," she said, noting adult and children's programming and ongoing grant-supported activities.
