Woodbury awarded $241,032 for Clark Brook culvert design to restore fish passage

"The town has been awarded $241,032, which will be used to develop engineering plans for the replacement of the culvert on Minertown Road," the 1st Selectman said. Selectman Karen Reddington Hughes confirmed the award amount from the records she reviewed.
The funds are intended for planning, engineering and design work to allow the replacement culvert to provide fish passage. Town staff will review grant requirements and bring the grant to the board for further discussion and next steps before contracting work begins.
