Contractor Doug Johnson told board he’s near permitting stage; planning signatures still needed

Doug Johnson addressed the board to ask whether he could now obtain a building permit for his project. He explained some background about his company name and that he has completed the local approvals he understood were required.
Engineering staff responded that the plan needs the planning director's signature and the planning commission secretary's signature; once those signatures are in place and the document is recorded, Johnson should be able to proceed with a building permit. "This plan will have to be signed by the planning director and, the secretary for the planning commission. Once they sign it, we'll let you know, and then this will need to be recorded," staff said. Staff added they would reach out to Johnson when those steps were complete.
