The board also approved $1.5 million to support immigrant-community needs; the ordinance is scheduled to return for adoption on April 28.
The staff update also noted county emergency-preparedness outreach in Sonoma Valley this month and called attention to infrastructure items on the county calendar, including the Watmock Road bridge construction contract scheduled for award April 14. Council members offered no substantive questions during the read update but asked staff to pass information on and to circulate the county presenter calendar for future meetings.
