The Northern Valley USD 212 board voted March 10 to approve an option to offer an all‑day four‑year‑old preschool program for the 2025–26 school year. The motion to approve the committee-recommended option was made by Steven Whitney and seconded by Brandi Keith; trustees voted 7–0 in favor.
Principal Marvin Gebhard had presented the preschool committee’s recommended changes and reported screening results that project enrollment numbers. The board’s approval allows staff to complete operational planning, enrollment notices, and staffing necessary to offer an all‑day preschool option in the coming year.
