Town Attorney Bill Nikas explained enforcement options: "If they were originally a tenant by consent and stopped paying rent they would have to go through an eviction. If they initially went in there trespassing, that is a criminal situation and the Sheriff would get them out." The board directed staff to look into owner contact and enforcement options.
