Marissa presented overdue account details for Echo Broadcasting Company and said the district had requested Tyler Gunter pay a minimum of $1,000 per month in a November 2024 letter but had received multiple missed payments since then. "This is a letter dated back in November 2024, requesting Tyler with Echo Broadcasting Company to be paying us a minimum of 1000 dollars a month," Marissa said.
Board members discussed options including certified demand letters, payment plans, termination of service and small‑claims or civil action. The board voted to send a certified demand letter giving the account holder 30 days to come current or appear before the board to arrange a payment schedule to retire the debt within 24 months; if the account remains delinquent staff may proceed with contract termination or legal remedies.
