"We're required to put 75% down in in advance, which comes to $30,705, and then they would require the balance of the difference from, the total bill of 40,940 for parts and labor," Ken said.
Board members noted the lack of redundancy if a second unit failed and agreed to purchase the units to prevent service interruptions during warmer weather. The motion to authorize purchase was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
