The board approved an administrative update to the district's auditor designation after the partner group reorganized.
Martin Moore told the board that the auditors the district has used for roughly five to 10 years (led by Polly Rogers) have split the company and that audit work is now being handled under the name ClearTrail CPAs; he said the auditors do about 60 school audits in Oregon annually. "They the partners in it have split the company. They're they're still working together, but it split the company," Moore said. The board moved, seconded and approved the name change by voice vote.
Why it matters: updating the auditor name preserves continuity of audit services and ensures records match the firm's current structure. The board had no further questions and approved the administrative update.
