Person County commissioners honor Camille Clay as NC Black County Officials scholarship recipient

Royster read Clay’s academic record — a 3.957 unweighted GPA and a 4.478 weighted GPA — and highlighted her completion of an associate in arts degree alongside her high school diploma, class ranking and extensive volunteer service (more than 120 documented hours).
Clay told the board she was grateful for the nomination and honored to receive the scholarship. Royster said the award will be formally presented during the association’s annual session in late August and congratulated Clay on behalf of Person County.
