Rock Springs Elementary describes "Nests," PBL units and an EEF-funded Roadrunner Retreat

Rock Springs staff also outlined curriculum-connected project-based units tied to local field trips (Santa Lejo Lagoon, Elfin Forest, Coastal Roots) and said teachers will design two PBL units per year at each grade. Trustees complimented the inclusion of special education students in co-created activities and welcomed the model's peer-to-peer shareable practices.
