The Louisville City Council adjourned into an executive session to consider annual performance evaluations of two officials appointed by the council: the city manager and the city attorney. The council cited authority under the Louisville Charter (section 5-2(b)) and Colorado Revised Statutes (section 24-6-402(4)(f)) to hold a confidential personnel discussion.
When the council returned to the public meeting, the mayor reported the evaluations were "very, very, very positive, all the way around." The council voted to have Heidi Brinkman of Brinkman Consulting contact the city manager and city attorney to provide additional information; members also flagged a future agenda item to address the city manager's contract following the performance review.
