Van Alstyne parks staff asked residents to report damage or problems in parks so crews can respond.
“If you see anything wrong, call us,” William said. “If we don't know about it, we can't fix it.” He urged community members to contact the parks department to report issues and described the crew’s willingness to address problems they learn about from residents.
Hosts and crew also noted that parks staff maintain other city facilities including the museum, library and the downtown square, and that residents’ reports help prioritize repairs and cleaning. The segment closed with hosts thanking the crew and reminding listeners of upcoming events.
