Fort Edward planning board continues Dolan Solar hearing; no vote taken

Acting Chairperson Valerie Ingersoll called the Town of Fort Edward Planning Board to order on Aug. 28 and opened a continued public hearing on the Dolan Solar site plan. Evan Callahan gave an overview of recent submission updates for the application; the board did not take a vote and left the public hearing open to allow outstanding materials to be completed.
"To ease your mind a little, this project has been in front of us for 4 years and has been gone through in fine detail," Acting Chairperson Valerie Ingersoll said, noting multiple revisions to the application. Town Engineer Chris Koenig told the board that the stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) is not yet complete and that SEQR Part II will be on the next meeting agenda. Koenig said his next comment letter will incorporate the most recent submission materials and recommended a logistics plan addressing temporary workforce and traffic impacts prior to construction.
