Council approves 2027 athletic-field maintenance agreement with school district

"The high school and baseball and softball complex maintenance agreement between the city of Monroe and the school district of Monroe for the period of 01/01/2027 through 12/31/2027 is hereby approved," the presenter said when reading the resolution.
Councilors moved and seconded the resolution and approved it by roll call. The agreement was described as continuing a longstanding cooperative relationship to provide recreational and athletic opportunities for the community.
