Bonneville group requests donations for alcohol-free senior graduation party

A representative who identified themself as Paige spoke on behalf of Bonneville and asked the council to consider donations to support a safe, drug- and alcohol-free graduation after-party for local seniors.
"We're here representing Bonneville... we're gonna be hosting our senior after graduation party... any money that you guys would be willing to donate would be awesome," Paige said. Councilors said the city traditionally contributes to the event and indicated they would continue that support; staff asked the group to bring donation documentation to the next council meeting so the city can process contributions.
The council offered to collect donations at the next meeting and to coordinate with the group's PTA or organizers to ensure funds are properly recorded.
