Council presses for costs and prioritization before adopting parks master plan

Fisher said park investment often receives funding only after other needs are met: "Parks is always like the stepchild ... It gets any money that's left over." Staff and the consultant agreed to attempt to provide more specific cost estimates for common upgrades (playgrounds, restrooms, signage) and to return with a clearer prioritization matrix in the final plan.
