Fire Department sprinkler system tested and apparatus door repairs underway

Assistant Director Peter Vaccarelli told the commission the Fire Department's sprinkler wet system was tested and that "Fire Marshal Brian Proulx has signed off, system is operational." He said American Heritage has replaced three apparatus bay overhead door thresholds with two remaining to complete the work and that kitchen hood vents were cleaned as required.
Vaccarelli also said he shared photos of the door-threshold work with commissioners. No funding amounts, contractor contract numbers or completion dates for the remaining work were recorded in the minutes.
