MRA reopens after well test; parks crews finish prep for parade and monument

Assistant Director Peter Vaccarelli reported multiple parks and recreation items to the commission. He said "MRA is open" after the well was chlorinated, flushed, tested and passed; staff also repaired the MRA emergency call station and replaced four lamps on Quassy Ball Field pole lighting.
Vaccarelli added that roadside mowing and weed spraying are ongoing, with night spraying planned once building work is completed, and crews are mulching and cleaning Meadowview Park ahead of the upcoming monument unveiling and other summer events, including the recent Flag Day activities.
