Rochambeau Monument to be unveiled June 27 after Meadowview Park preparations

Assistant Director Peter Vaccarelli told the commission crews have been working with the Historical Society and the Beautification Committee to prepare the Rochambeau Monument grounds, including topsoil grading, greenway patching and reshaped mulch beds at Meadowview Park.
Vaccarelli said a crane will arrive at Meadowview Park at 6:00 a.m. on June 23 to set up, with the monument expected to be placed at about 8:00 a.m. He announced, "The Rochambeau Monument will be unveiled on Saturday, June 27th at 1:00 pm."
