Commission enters executive session; attorney reports two pending matters including $5M lawsuit and Case 23‑CV‑0257

County Attorney Bin Minter told the board there are two pending legal matters on file in Superior Court involving the county: a lawsuit for $5 million and an appeal from magistrate court, Case 23‑CV‑0257. Minter indicated additional details would remain in executive session.
An affidavit of attending members included language citing O.C.G.A. sections governing closed meetings and stated that minutes of the closed session were taken and would be held for in‑camera inspection in accordance with statutory requirements.
