Superintendent Heidi Deininger and building principals used the meeting to recognize individual achievement and service. Dr. Deininger represented Principal Tracey Rein in recognizing student Abigayle Engaldo for a high IAR achievement; Principal Deb Gunnarsson recognized student Connor Knop for leadership; Principal Brady Knop recognized Building Secretary Betty Hartman on her retirement; and Abby Naples, the district's food services director, recognized Head Cook Sue Prins for her retirement effective Oct. 1.
In her Superintendent's Report the minutes list priorities for the start of the school year including enrollment, focus for the 2025–2026 school year, social media, celebrating positive district news, a risk management plan, and architect updates. "Start of the school year" and related topics are listed in the minutes; the board did not expand those items in the recorded public minutes.
