The presenter read a resignation letter from trustee Rhonda Johnson, who wrote that she is relocating to Billings for work and will be ineligible to remain on the Bighorn County Library Board of Trustees. The presenter asked the commission to approve outreach to solicit applicants to fill two trustee vacancies and said the board currently has just enough trustees to approve routine bills only if one member attends reliably.
The presenter said staff are preparing a capital improvement plan and that boiler work is awaiting inspection; the presenter also said the fall guidebook and next season’s program schedule will be distributed to advertise events and trustee recruitment.
