Commissioners press staff on site-plan redactions, ask for policy and notice

"We've been redacting their information as best we can and really kind of exploring how to best do the best we can," Cammarata said.
Several commissioners urged caution and called for a published policy and outreach to applicants so that redactions are consistent and do not remove information commissioners need to evaluate code compliance. One commissioner said a prior meeting nearly required continuance because bulk redactions had obscured photometric information needed for code judgment. Staff said redaction practices will be refined and that city-held records remain available if someone needs to perform later due diligence.
