Sheriff's office hosts promoted the November charity ride and noted that each named beneficiary will receive $10,000 from the event proceeds. Organizers encouraged ticket purchases and sponsorships and said tickets and sponsorship forms are available on the sheriff's webpage.
Hosts described raffle prizes (each with a minimum $500 value) and new, slightly longer routes for this year's ride, plus a pre-party at Desert RV with a carne asada sale. "When you buy a ticket, these are the organizations that you're helping. We're gonna we're giving $10,000 to each of those this year," one host said. Sponsorships start at $500 and go higher; the program recommended businesses and individuals visit cochise.az.gov/sheriff for details and registration.
