Board unanimously approves 2026–27 contract with Provo Educators Association

The Provo City School Board on Tuesday unanimously approved the negotiated agreement with the Provo Educators Association (PEA) for the 2026–27 school year, ending board consideration with an affirmative vote.
Superintendent Wendy Dow and board members thanked negotiators for their work; the agreement covers salary, benefits and working conditions for licensed educators for 2026–27. "We're grateful for all the people that come to the table to do that negotiating," board member Lisa Boyce said, acknowledging the time and effort of district staff and association representatives.
The vote was taken in open session and carried without opposition. The board indicated the contract had been discussed in study session prior to the business meeting.
