Board discusses hall rental rate increase, schedules community events and reviews memorial request

An older resident requested permission to place a memorial bench or plaque for Ed ("Butch") Stacknick; President Counley said the request would be presented to the board and placed on a future agenda. Trustee Fritz announced the Neighbors Helping Neighbors meeting on Nov. 11, 2025 at The Knoll, and the board noted the Annual Children's Christmas Party is set for Dec. 7, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Holiday meal sign-ups for Thanksgiving and Christmas were also announced and Deputy Clerk Prehn will add the items to the village newsletter.
No vote was taken on rental rates or the memorial request at the Oct. 28 meeting; both items are pending further information or formal consideration at a future meeting.
