At the Aug. 26 meeting of the McCullom Lake Board of Trustees the board approved routine items by voice vote. Trustee Walter moved to approve the minutes (seconded by Trustee Fritz); Trustee Bogacz moved to accept the Treasurer’s Report (seconded by Trustee Vick); and Trustee Bogacz moved to pay the bills (seconded by Trustee Fritz). Each motion carried on a voice vote with trustees Bogacz, Fritz, Vick, Walter and Zakrocky recorded as voting aye; Trustee Thompson and Attorney Shaw were absent. The board later voted to adjourn at 7:39 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Bogacz, seconded by Trustee Vick.
Clerk Messina reported Attorney Shaw emailed about the Hen Ordinance, saying the ordinance "stands on its own now" and was drafted so it could be repealed if a pilot program failed but intended to remain if the pilot program succeeded. No new ordinances were adopted at the meeting; the board’s routine approvals keep municipal operations current and scheduled events and follow-ups will return at future meetings.
