"This is the start of the 5th year that we've handled insurance services for the county, and we have charged the same fee for the first four years," Tanner said, adding the firm could be canceled at any time in writing and that the fee schedule includes a small escalator if the county renews. Commissioners praised HUB for bringing competitive quotes on workers' compensation and other lines, and the board approved the agreement by roll call.
The board asked HUB to provide a copy of the agreement for county records, and staff noted the option to request competitive quotes in future years as a due-diligence step.
