The board approved the consent agenda in one motion on Sept. 10. Items included Board of Education meeting minutes from Aug. 13, the personnel report, actual payrolls/bills/checks, the travel report, declassification of closed-session minutes, destruction of verbatim tapes, the EIS administrator & teacher salary/benefits report and IMRF staff compensation over $75,000, and press packets 115 and 116.
The motion to approve the full consent agenda was made by Janine Freedlund and seconded by Robert Rognstad; the vote was recorded as AYE from Pfisterer, Freedlund, Rognstad, Bianchini, Camardo and Grimpe.
Why it matters: the consent agenda bundles routine administrative and personnel items and speeds district governance; individual items may be pulled for separate discussion at a later meeting if requested.
