Board members and administrators highlighted recent community events at Euclid School and the district’s ongoing facility projects during the Sept. 10 meeting.
Several board members — including Rebecca Pfisterer, Robert Rognstad and William Grimpe — described positive turnouts at Euclid’s open house and ribbon-cutting and congratulated the PTC and staff. President Grimpe said it was "wonderful to see many community members and dignitaries that came out for the event." RTEA representative Robert Kastner told the board staff members "are thrilled and looking forward to the renovations at Indian Grove." Dr. Jodi Megerle provided an update on Euclid solar panels, saying the district is monitoring fund-release timelines and will advise the board on any schedule changes.
Why it matters: visible community support at school events can influence engagement around capital projects and fundraising. Board members also encouraged continued community outreach ahead of any major decisions on RTMS and other renovation planning.
