Board approves Indian Grove renovation contracts, approves $2.32M Trane HVAC purchase

The board then approved an Operations Committee recommendation to acquire the HVAC equipment and building automation systems from Trane at a cost not to exceed $2,323,405. That motion passed with one dissent (Louis Camardo).
The board also approved a construction management fee structure: a 4.0% construction management fee, liability insurance at 0.69% of construction costs, and a fixed general conditions fee of $209,500 (totaling $714,508). The board noted an estimate from "Nicholas" of approximately $350,000 for reimbursable costs. These approvals passed with the same single dissent from Mr. Camardo on the voting record.
