The River Trails School District 26 Policy Committee met on Aug. 13, 2024. Committee Chair Mrs. Janine Freedlund called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the committee approved the minutes from the May 7, 2024 meeting after a voice vote in which Mrs. Freedlund, Mrs. Donna Johnson and Mrs. Rebecca Pfisterer responded "AYE."
The committee reviewed two policy packets (115 and 116) and agreed to post them for a first reading and to bring both packets to the full Board on Sept. 10, 2024 for adoption. The meeting record notes no visitor comments and shows the meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m. "With no further business to come before the Policy Committee, Mrs. Freedlund adjourned the meeting at 6:40 PM," the record states.
The actions taken were procedural: approval of prior minutes and authorization to post the two policy packets for first reading ahead of the Sept. 10 board meeting. No substantive public testimony or contested motions were recorded in the committee minutes.
